Terms of service

These terms apply when you use batchzerotry.com, join the Batch Zero tester list or take part in a product test. Batch Zero is independently operated from Singapore by Mark Rivers.

Tester-list eligibility

You must be 18 or older to join the tester list. The information you provide should be accurate and belong to you. Joining the list is free and does not create an order, reserve a product or guarantee selection.

Product rounds

Each product round can have its own eligible countries, application period, capacity, test purpose, feedback task, shipping information and claim deadline. Those round details form part of these terms for that test. If no round is open, your application is for the future tester list only.

Selection and private claims

We may select applicants based on the published round criteria, product fit, delivery eligibility and available capacity. Selected applicants receive a separate email with a private claim link. Do not share private claim links. We may review a claim against the selected tester list before fulfilment.

Checkout and charges

The public application does not require payment. A selected claim is a separate Shopify Checkout step. The product, discount, shipping, taxes where applicable and final total are shown before you complete an order. There is no Batch Zero membership or recurring charge unless a future service is clearly offered and separately accepted.

Delivery, returns and refunds

Available destinations, delivery estimates, shipping fees, taxes, duties and return arrangements can vary by round and country. Review the current round, Shipping policy, Refund policy and Shopify Checkout before completing a claim. Mandatory consumer rights that apply in your location are not excluded by these terms.

Tester feedback

If you accept a product under a tester round, you agree to make a reasonable effort to use it as described and complete the stated feedback task by the deadline. Honest positive, mixed or negative feedback is welcome. You are not required to provide guaranteed praise. Permission to share or publish feedback is explained when feedback is collected.

Site use

Do not misuse the site, submit information for another person without permission, interfere with the service, use automated methods to submit false applications, or attempt to access private claim pages without an invitation. We may reject or cancel applications and claims affected by misuse, duplication, ineligible delivery details or obvious error.

Information on the site

We aim to keep product and round information accurate. Product brands remain responsible for the claims and materials they provide. Brand relationships, sponsorships, certifications, results and tester comments are shown only when Batch Zero has information to support them.

Changes

We may update these terms when the service or applicable requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes affecting an active round will be explained where appropriate.
